man who attended the Ridgewood Whole Foods Bastille
Day Food, Wine and Book Signing Event last June 14th said
he was taking the book along on a bike trip in France to follow
one of the maps in the book. "You are an inspiration!" From the doctor mentioned in the book - "I have traveled the world and I consider The French Country one of the five best restaurants in the world." After my talk to the AARP Group in Coral Gables one of the ladies told me - I was telling my friend, "Just look at what she is doing at her age. And I bet she has the same health problems, the aches and pains that we have, but look at her and what she does! Thank you for writing the book - it was a great surprise birthday present to my husband. How inspiring you are! You have inspired me! From a writer of Humor - I loved the book, especially where you yelled at the French dogs. "Cree! - you should be on Oprah - your book is better than most of the ones on the best seller list." Of course, this came from a friend but not one who would lie to me! - she really feels this way. Too, she knows me and likes me. My friend Irma is an avid reader! |
